A.USING YOUR BLOWER & VACUUM
1. Ensure that the handle has been correctly fitted and is firmly fastened to the machine (see assembly
instructions).
2. Always ensure that the leaf bag is fitted properly before using (see assembly instructions).
3. Your Blower & Vacuum is controlled by the on/off switch (switching interlock button) and the throttle
trigger

4. Loop the mains cable through and around the cord restraint. The use of an RCD (residual current
detector) when using all outdoor electrical appliances is highly recommended.
5. Always direct the cord to the rear and keep well away from the appliance.
6. If a cord becomes damaged during use, turn off at power point and disconnect the supply cord from the
mains immediately. Do not touch the cord before disconnecting the power supply.
7. Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply.
- Whenever you leave the machine;
- Before checking, cleaning or working on the appliance;
- If the appliance starts to vibrate abnormally.
8. Operate the appliance only in daylight or in good artificial light.
9. Always be sure of your footing on slopes.
10. Walk, never run.
11. Always keep the vacuum inlet clear of debris before and after use.
