When installing: Ensure that the coin-cell battery connector is attached firmly.

1090 Wireless-LAN card

For access, remove these FRUs in order:
"1010 ThinkPad Pen Pro or dummy cap" on page 58
• "1020 Micro-SIM-card tray (available on some models)" on page 59
"1030 Base cover assembly" on page 59
• Disconnect the battery cable. See "1040 Battery" on page 60.

When installing:
Attention: When you route the cables, ensure that they are not subject to any tension. Tension could cause
the cables to be damaged by the cable guides, or a wire to be broken.
1. Plug the gray cable into the main connector and the black cable into the auxiliary connector on the card.
For wireless-LAN card with WiGig function, also plug the WiGig cable into the 3rd connector on the card.
2. When you route the cables, ensure that there is a gap between the wireless-LAN cables and the hinge,
and do not pull the wireless-LAN cables from the hinge.
