Clearing a paper jam:
If the cutting mechanism is fed too much paper, a paper jam occurs. Proceed as follows:
- Move the slide switch into the REV position. The cutting mechanism runs backwards
and the excess paper slides back out.
- Reduce the amount of paper and switch back to AUTO.
- If the paper jam was not fixed, unplug the device and then remove the paper remnants
manually from the cutting mechanism.
The device does not automatically switch off:
If the slide switch is set to REV (e.g. in the event of a paper jam), it is possible that there are
paper remnants under the paper sensor. In this case, do not switch back to AUTO, as the
device cannot switch off by itself.
In most cases, the paper remnants can be removed by insertion of a further sheet of paper
into the feed-in slot. If the device still does not stop by itself, proceed as follows:
- Unplug the device and turn it around.
- Carefully remove the pieces of paper from the feed-in slot with tweezers or similar.
Please be careful not to damage the cutters.
If you were unable to eliminate the error yourself, please contact your dealer or call service
hotline.

9. Cleaning

- Unplug the device before cleaning.
- Clean the unit with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
- Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. Have repairs performed by qualified
personnel. No liability is accepted for personal injury caused by improper use.
- The device is maintenance-free and the cutting mechanism need not be treated with
special oil.

10. Storage

Store the unit cleaned and in its original packaging when not in use. Keep the device dry
and away from any heat source.
