    INTRODUCTION Congratulations on your purchase of a new Carver Professional CV Series Power Amplifier.     Each input channel can be assigned to output to channel 1, channel2 or both via a DIP switch (SW1) on the module’s circuit board. Carver Professional reserves the right to improve its products at any time. Therefore, specifications are subject to change without notice.
  • Page 5: Configuring The Msmp / Msmpx

    Mono configurations, configure the output of the various Figure 2 input stages to CH 2 only. If you are using the MSMP module in a CV1501 or CV2501 single channel amplifier, you should configure the outputs to CH 1 only, on switch SW1.
  • Page 6: Connecting The Msmp / Msmpx

    The connector is keyed to fit into the twenty pin receptacle on the MSMP module in only one direction. Plug the ribbon cable into the receptacle taking care not to bend any of the pins. The connector should insert easily. If any resistance is encountered please double check the orientation of the termination on the ribbon cable in relationship to the receptacle.

    Unlike Input #1, for thi input the sensitivity is set with a variable adjustment on the front panel of the MSMP module. The Mic / Line sensitivity adjustment becomes more sensitive as it is rotated clockwise. To adjust the sensitivity, you can insert a typical signal and adjust the sensitivity until the red or amber peak light is triggered.
