SHARPENING COARSE 4.2.1 The knife must be clean before sharpening. Sharpening is easier if you hold the knife with one hand and help steer the blade with the other hand. It is im- portant that the knife is not held at an angle, but is steered vertically into the slot. Sharpen the knife until there is a wire edge. -
