Making a call
Entering a telephone number using the
number keypad
You can use the number keypad to enter
numbers and special characters.
To enter: use the x to s, and
X
l buttons to enter the characters.
For the * character, press the l button
once. Press the button a second time within
1.5 seconds for the + character.
To delete individual digits: press the
X
$ button.
To delete an entire number: press and
X
hold the $ button until the entire
number has been deleted.
or
Press the ~ button.

To finish entry and make a call: press the
X
6 button.
Entering a telephone number using the
character bar
In addition to the menu bar, a character bar
is displayed in the telephone basic menu.
If the character bar is active (highlighted), you
can select an item.
To enter digits: slide XVY or turn cVd
X
the controller until the desired number is
selected.
To confirm your selection: press W the
X
controller.
Repeat this procedure to select all of the
X
desired digits in sequence from the
character bar.
To delete individual digits: slide XVY or
X
turn cVd the controller until 2 is
selected.
Press W the controller.

To delete a number sequence: slide
X
XVY or turn cVd the controller until
2 is selected.
Press W the controller until the number

sequence is deleted.

Select ¢ by sliding XVY or turning

cVd the controller and press W to
confirm.
To make a call: select ¡ and press W to

confirm.
Using a number from the phone book
Select Name by sliding XVY or turning

cVd the controller and press W to
confirm.
Select the entry by sliding ZVÆ or turning

cVd the controller and press W to confirm
