8. Troubleshooting:
Failure phenomenon
SYS Indicator off
Can't access Wireless Router
through Web page
Possible Resolution
Make sure the power adapter is plugged and on
Check the IP address of computer and Wireless Router
to ensure both are on the same networking segment. If
confirmed then try the following step until it's the
issue is resolved:
a. Restart the router and try again.
b. Now check if they are connected. On RUN window,
type "CMD" then press OK.
A command line window will pop up, type:
ping 192.168.188.253 and press Enter key
If both are connected you will get a reply from the
router but if they are not connected you will get
Request Timed Out.
c. Check your network to ensure this IP 192.168.188.253
is not assigned to another device.;
d. Check the network cable (UTP cable), its
recommended to use 10/100M UTP unshielded cable.
e. Clean temporary files and cache file of your Internet
Browser.
