POWER SUPPLY This Product can be powered by either 230V AC Mains supply or by 8 x UM-1 “D” size Alkaline batteries. AC OPERATION Remove the AC cord which is packed inside the box. Connect the cord to the AC input socket. Connect the 3 pins mains plug to an AC mains socket. -

LOCATION OF CONTROLS 1. DYNAMIC BASS BOOST BUTTON 2. VOLUME CONTROL KNOB 3. FUNCTION SWITCH (AUX/CD/TAPE/RADIO) 4. FM TELESCOPE ANTENNA 5. CASSETTE PAUSE BUTTON 6. CASSETTE STOP/EJECT BUTTON 7. CASSETTE FORWARD BUTTON 8. CASSETTE REWIND BUTTON 9. CASSETTE PLAY BUTTON 10. - Page 7 SET THE CORRECT TIME Before starting to set the time, make sure that the unit is in its off/standby mode. 1. Press PROGRAM/CLOCK Button once to enter the setting model. The 12/24Hr Segment will start flashing. Use the Back or Next Buttons to select the desired hour format and then press the PROGRAM/CLOCK ADJ Button to confirm.

USING THE CASSETTE RECORDER FAST FORWARD AND REWIND The tape can be fast forward or rewind by pressing the Next (Fast Forward) Button or Back (Backward) Button respectively. PAUSE During playback or recording, the tape can be stopped temporarily by pressing the Pause Button. - Page 9 USING THE CD PLAYER NORMAL PLAY Should skipping of tracks occur during CD playing, try turning the NOTE: volume down or switch off the dynamic bass boost. When CD is playing, do not open the CD Door. 1. Open the CD Door by pressing the CD Open Door Button. Put a CD into the CD Compartment label side facing up and close the CD Door.
