    Getting Started Safety Precautions There are two types of precautions: “Warning” and ‘’Caution”, and meanings of symbols used in this manual are as shown below.     Operation Turning ON/OFF Caution • During operation, do not remove or replace the components of this product such as Water Screw, Water Container. It can cause serious injury or burn. • In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

    Dual Care Air Purifier Pouring water It does not need to remove water container from main unit when pouring water. You can pouring the water directly to the water inlet on top of the product. Make sure that the product is installed in a safe location and plug the power cord before pouring water.

    Selecting operating mode The unit offers three kind of operating modes. Choose the appropriate operating mode in the environment where the unit is installed. Touch the POWER button briefly. ‐ The unit operates [Auto] mode or lately operated mode. Touch the OPERATING MODE button repeatedly to select the desired operating mode.

    Dual Care Air Purifier Selecting fan speed Press FAN SPEED button to select the preferred fan speed. The unit offers [Sleep], [Low], [Hi (High)], [Turbo] and [Auto] speeds. Touch the POWER button briefly. ‐ The unit operates in [Auto] mode or lately operated mode.
  • Page 15 Notice • For safety reasons, [Turbo] mode will be automatically changed to [Hi] mode after 10 minutes . • [Turbo] and [Sleep] FAN speed are unavailable in [Dual] mode. • When you select the [Auto] fan speed mode, the unit detects impurities for efficient air purification and switches the fan speed in every 10 seconds.

    Dual Care Air Purifier Lighting ON/OFF Press LIGHTING button to turn on or off LED light. The unit check the air conditions using dust sensor and odor sensor in every 10 seconds and indicates the current air condition by changing lighting color. Touch the LIGHTING button when operating.

    Setting child lock You can lock the button operations to prevent misuse, malfunction by children. Touch and hold the TIMER/LOCK button for more than 3 seconds to enable child lock function. ‐ Every button operation except TIMER/LOCK button will be restricted with beep sound. ‐...

    Dual Care Air Purifier Operating induction heat You can use induction heat function to humidify rapidly in a very dry environment. Touch the IH button when operating in [Dual] mode. ‐ Induction heat indication appears on the display with beep sound. To turn off the induction heat function, touch IH button.

    Dual Care Air Purifier Maintenance Caution Unplug the power cord when you doing maintenance such as parts replacement, cleaning, repair, etc. Notice Cleaning cycle may differ depending on the room environment, usage, and location of the unit. Cleaning water container (everyday) Remove the water screw from the main unit.

    Cleaning water screw (everyday) Pull the upper part of the water screw to separate the water screw into two parts. Rotate the bottom of the water screw clockwise to separate. Clean the upper part of the water screw in the running water using a soft cloth. Clean the lower part of the water screw in the running water and rub with the supplied brush.

    Dual Care Air Purifier Cleaning main unit (every 2-4 weeks) Clean the surface of the main unit using a soft cloth dampened with warm water. If there is a part having difficulties to clean with soft cloth, use the cotton swab or tooth brush.

    Cleaning air filter (every month) Grab handles of the filter cover and pull outside to remove the filter cover. Move the filter lever to the 'OPEN' position. OPEN CLOSE Remove the air filter from the main unit. Clean the filter using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner.
