Before using your washing
machine for the first time

The washing machine must have been installed and
connected properly refer to Page 34.
i The washing machine was tested before leaving
the factory. To remove any water left over from te
sting procedures, the first washing cycle should be
carried out without laundry in the machine.
q Turn the tap on.
q Pull out the detergent drawer all the way.
q Pour approx. 1 litre / 1 ¾ pt of water into cham
ber II of the detergent dispenser.
q Half fill the measuring beaker with detergent
and pour into chamber II.
i Do not use any special detergents for delicates
or woollens (excessive foam).
q Close the detergent drawer.
q Close the washing machine door.
q Set the programme selector to Cottons 90 °C.
q Press the Start button.
The programme starts.
The programme has ended when a programme dura
tion of 0 is displayed:
q Turn the programme selector to Off.
