• If there are obstacles between the devices, the
operating distance may be reduced.
• It is recommended that you don't use the
Bluetooth feature while using multimedia
features, such as voice recorder, camera or
camcorder, and Media player, or vice versa, for
better performance.
• Some devices may not be compatible with your
phone.
Pairing with a Bluetooth device
The Bluetooth pairing allows you to establish trusted
connections between your phone and another
Bluetooth device.
Searching and pairing with a Bluetooth device
1. From the Trusted Devices screen, press <Add
New> and select Search.
After searching, a list of devices to which you can
connect displays.
2. Scroll to the device and press <Add to list>.
3. Enter a Bluetooth PIN and press [MENU OK]. This
code is used just once and you don't need to
memorise it.
When the owner of the other device enters the
same code, pairing is complete.
Some devices, especially headsets or hands-
free car kits, may have a fixed Bluetooth PIN,
such as 0000. If the other device has a code,
you must enter it.
4. If necessary, change the paired device name.
5. When you have finished, press <Done> to add the
device to the paired device list.
Waiting for pairing with a Bluetooth device
1. From the Trusted Devices screen, press <Add
New> and select Wait for request.
2. Select a visibility option, Always Visible or
Visible for 3min.
3. Enter a Bluetooth PIN and press [MENU OK].
When the owner of the other device enters the
same code, pairing is complete.
