Type
tar xv
If this does not work, type:
tar xv7 (for 3.5" floppy drive other than the boot drive)

Type
./install_y2k
(This will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.)
18.
When you see the message:
GTS/XENIX year 2000 update is now installed
Press the control and d key down simultaneously.
Press <Enter> when asked for the current system time.
19.
At the login: prompt type:
gts
GTS V2.2.0 Yr 2000 Enhancement is now installed.
Caveats
1.
Before you load the GTS V2.2.0 Yr 2000 Enhancement, please load all of the needed,
previously released GTS V2.2.0 patches.
2.
Any subsequent release from this enhancement will have year 2000 support already built
in.
3.
If you load this enhancement and then load a previously released patch, the contents of
that patch will NOT have year 2000 support and will cause the patched application to
have inconsistent date and time functionality.
4.
If you DO load a patch released before the GTS V2.2.0 Yr 2000 Enhancement after you
have loaded this enhancement, you MUST perform the following:
a) Shutdown the controller and disable auto-login.
b) Reboot the controller.
c) When the Login: prompt appears, press ALT-F2
d) Log in as gts
e) Type cd exe
f) Type fix2000 -p *
(This will take about five minutes to complete.)
