SERVICING & DISMANTLING PROCEDURES
Safety Notes
1. Refer to Safety Notes and General Servicing Advice on page 2.
2. To undertake any dismantling, with the exception of the lamp and filter replacement, it is
recommended to remove the hood from its location and place on a protected surface.
1.
Lamp Replacement
a)
To gain access to the lamps, gently prise off the plastic cover using a small screwdriver, taking
care not to scratch the surface of the hood itself. Fig. 1.
b)
Unscrew the faulty lamp(s). It may be necessary to slide open the filter grille to give better access.
Replace the lamp with the same type and wattage.
c)
Reassemble in reverse order.
2.
Lamp Holder
a)
Invert the hood and place upon a protected surface.
b)
Remove the grease filter and carbon filters (if fitted).
c)
Remove the lamp cover surround, 2 screws T10 and unscrew the lamps.
d)
Remove the motor by sliding open the filter grille and remove the motor assembly fixing screws,
T20 and lift the motor assembly off the tabs.
