Installation Step 1: Select a Location for Installation When determining a position to install the TV set, ensure the area is: • Well ventilated and away from moisture. • Protected from abnormal heat and away from direct sunlight. • Away from excessive dust, debris or grease. WARNING: If the TV is not positioned or installed in a sufficiently safe and stable location, it can create a potential hazard by falling resulting in injury and damage to the unit and its surroundings, particularly in environments where children may be present.

Installation (cont) Step 4: Connecting the Antenna In order to receive TV programs the signal should be received from one of the following signal sources: • Outdoor antenna • Cable TV network • Satellite broadcast network In these three cases, the input cable of antenna or TV network should be plugged into the 75 Ohm coaxial cable jack at the lower back side of the TV.

No sound ® connection is needed for a HDMI to HDMI connection. Getting Started Turn On the TV • Plug the power cord into a suitable power outlet, then turn the outlet on. • Press the power button located on the right hand lower side of the TV back panel; the indicator light will illuminate blue indicating the TV is on (if the TV is in standby mode, press the power button on the remote control to turn the TV on, make sure you aim it at the IR sensor on the front of the TV).

The on-screen display will automatically close/turn off after the preset time has elapsed. Note: The OSD timer will start from the beginning every time a button is pressed on either the remote control or the TV.
