Macro Mode (Taking Close-up Pictures)

Use macro mode when you take close-up pictures.

Press the multi selector I (p).

Select ON and press the k button.
If the setting is not applied by pressing the k
button, the selection will be canceled.

Move the zoom control to set the zoom
ratio to a position where F and the
zoom indicator are displayed in green.
When the zoom ratio is set to a position where F and the zoom indicator are
displayed in green, the camera can focus on subjects as close as approximately
10 cm (4 in.) from the lens.
When the zoom position is at the wide-angle and
in the area indicated by 1, the camera can focus
on subjects as close as approximately 1 cm (0.4 in.)
from the lens.

The Macro Mode Setting
The setting may not be available with some shooting modes (A60).
For A (auto) mode, the applied setting is saved in the camera's memory even after the
camera is turned off.
