you'verecentlydonelaundryor runhotwaterfor
showers, g iveyourwaterheatertimeto recoverbefore
operating thedishwasher.
Higherwatertemperature i s neededto dissolvegrease
andactivatepowderdetergents. I f thewatertemperature

Checkyourwatertemperature witha candyor meat
thermometer. Turnonthehot waterfaucetnearest
thedishwasher. P utthethermometer i n a glassand
let thewaterrun continuously intotheglassuntilthe
temperature stopsrising.If the watertemperature is
below120°F., a djustyourwaterheater.
Toimprovewashability if thewateris lessthan 120"F.
andyoucannotadjustyourwaterheater:Selecta longer
cycleandfillbothdetergent c upsat leasthalf-fullwith
detergent.

a Rinse
Agent
Yourdishwasher's rinseagentcontainerholds4!4
ounces.Thisshouldlast about3 months.Fill as
needed.Do not overfill.
A rinseagentmakeswaterflowoffdishesquickerthan
usual.Thislessenswaterspottingandmakesdrying
faster,too.
For bestdishwashing performance, u seof a rinseagent
suchas JET-DRY brandis recommended.
If you accidentallyspill:Wipeup therinseagentwith
a dampcloth.Don'tleavethespillin thedishwasher. It
cankeepyourdetergent f romworking.
If you can%find
any rinse agent,
write:
Rinseagentscomein eitherliquidor solidform.
