The rear panel of a DBX high-density drive tray includes two redundant power
supplies, two ENC-IN ports, and two ENC-OUT ports for each section inthe
drive tray. The ports provide the connections to daisy-chain high-density
expansion units in the system. The rear panel also includes LEDs that show
the status of the ENC units and the power supplies. The following illustration
shows the hardware components on the rear panel of a high-density
expansion unit.
