    The HUBFIX bath lift has been designed as a lifting platform for bathing seats. It allows you to quickly and easily lift people into and out of the bathtub. Otto Bock recommends using its Robby and Flipper bathing and care seats. Even agitated children can be tended to without unnecessary back strain, first in the bath lift's upper position at bathtub rim level (straps may be needed), and then lowered to the bottom of the tub.

    5 Safety advisory Please read the Owner's Manual first. Make sure you are familiar with the device and how to operate it before you first place it in a bathtub. The HUBFIX bath lift must never be operated by the person on the platform. The HUBFIX bath lift must be used indoors and only in a bathtub.

The 'foot end' of the bath lift should point towards the foot end of the tub (on a standard bathtub).

Robby bathing seat: Keep the release buttons on the locking joints pressed in as you pull it out (Figure 25). Flipper bathing seat: First fold the Flipper bathing seat's head section completely forward. As you pull it out, fold the rear frame inwards (Figure 26).

Lifting: Put the fingers of one hand around the release knob. (Figure 30). Hold onto the frame of the firmly attached bathing seat with the other hand. Press the release button with your thumb and pull the bathing seat up assisted by the hydraulic spring.
