It is not necessary to set the time to brew coffee unless you want to use the delayed
brewing feature.
1. Plug in the cord. The digital display will show 12:00 and the colon will flash.
2. Press the hour button until the correct time displays.

Brewing Coffee
For best results, use coffee ground for automatic drip coffeemakers.
CAUTION: To avoid damage to appliance, do NOT operate without water.
1. Open cover and fill water tank up to desired line/number of cups. Do NOT
exceed the maximum level line.
IMPORTANT: There are two overflow holes on the back of the coffeemaker. Over-
filling the water reservoir will cause water to spill on to the counter.
2. Place the filter basket in the coffeemaker.
3. Set permanent filter or 8–12 cup cone shaped paper filter into filter basket.
4. Add desired amount of ground coffee to permanent filter.
5. Close cover.
