Note: There are some camera settings that are by default set to 'Off' and therefore do not display
an LCD icon. The LCD icon will only display once the setting is set to 'ON' or a specific option for
that setting is chosen. This include following camera settings:
Anti Shake, Detect (Face Detect, Smile Detect, Blink Detect, Object Detect), ViviLink, Self-Timer

LCD DISPLAY

The default display shows the camera setting icons on the top of the LCD screen.
Press the Display (DISP) button to select from additional display options.
Each time you press the Display button one of the following LCD displays is shown:
 Displays all camera icons on the screen.
 Hides all camera icons.
 Displays the camera grid (no icons).
 Returns to default display – showing the standard icons on the top section of the LCD screen.

PHOTO CAPTURE MODE QUICK FUNCTION BUTTONS

Your digital camera has a four-directional pad that functions as Quick Function buttons:

Self Timer – Opens the Self Timer setting options.
Left
The Self Timer menu allows you to set a delay between the time that the
camera's Shutter button is pressed and the actual capture of the picture.
This is an optimal feature if you don't just want to take the picture but would also
like to be in the picture yourself. Just set the desired Self Timer delay, press the
Shutter button on your camera and position yourself in front of the camera as
desired.
The Self-Timer options include - Off, 2 Seconds, 5 Seconds, 10 Seconds
