Unless 10 msec.
< tl, the microprocessor
is not able to detect it.
(a). If the turntable
is rotating
too slowly (t2 >70
msec.), or
(b). if the turntable
is rotating
too quickly
(tl
< 10 msec., the turntable
will continue
to turn (it will not stop rotating).
If, after the slit for the last
disc number
(@ in illustration)
has passed,
the next slit is not encountered
for more than
70 msec., the next slit is detected
and used as the stop position.
If the turntable
is rotating too slowly (t2 > 70 msec.), the slits between
@– and @ ~~ ~e-mistaken
for stop positions.

The base mechanism
will rise at these positions
and bump into the turntable.
When the base mechanism
is rising or lowering,
the motor stops when switch 3 is not on if 16 sec.. have passed.
Malfunction.
When the base mechanism
is rising or lowering,
the next disc is selected
or switch 3 turns on 4 times when switch
is not on if 16 sec.. have not passed.
The control keys have no effect when the base mechanism
is rising or lowering.
