The chainsaw may come with plastic spacers over or around the bar studs - the spacer is for shipping purposes only and must be removed before mounting the chain bar. After removing the chain brake cover, remove any spacers, then mount the chain bar as described. - Page 9 Cordless Pole Chainsaw 4. Insert the strap into the buckle. 5. A dull chain will cause undue wear on the sprocket, guide bar, chain, and motor. If you force the chain into the wood and cutting creates only sawdust with a few large chips, the chain is dull. -

Cordless Pole Chainsaw Filing Cutter Depth Gauges The cutter depth gauge clearance is reduced as cutters are sharpened. After every second or third sharpening, reset the cutter depth gauges. 1. Place the depth gauge tool (.025") firmly across the top of the two cutters. Make sure that the depth gauge enters the slot in the depth gauge tool (see image below). -
