Operating instruction Example: Setting summer time. If you live in Paris, in relation to Tokyo, you are at -8 from Tokyo time. While Paris moves into summer daylight saving time, there is no hour change in Tokyo. Paris will then be at -7 from Tokyo. - Page 15 Operating instruction Example: Setting summer time. If you live in Tokyo, in relation to Paris, you are at +8 hours from Paris. While Paris moves onto summer daylight saving time, Tokyo will be at +7 hours from Paris.
