• You can set a function to enable noise
reduction processing when taking
pictures at a slow shutter speed. See
page 115 for setting Custom Functions.
• You can set a custom function to
automatically compensate the sensitivity to obtain the proper exposure, when
the conditions set are not providing proper exposure. See page 115 for setting

Exposure Warning

If the subject is too bright or too dark, the
aperture value will blink in the viewfinder and
on the LCD panel. When the subject is too
bright, choose a faster shutter speed. If it is
too dark, choose a slower shutter speed.
When the shutter speed indication stops
blinking, you can take the picture with proper
exposure.
If both the shutter speed and aperture value
are blinking, this indicates being out of
metering range, unable to obtain the proper
exposure even if the shutter speed is adjusted.
Use an ND (Neutral Density) filter if the subject is too bright. Use a flash or
faster sensitivity if it is too dark.
