4. Troubleshooting

Problem
LED does not illuminate
LED is solid orange.
LED is flashing orange.
Shutter won't open
Shutter won't close
Camera or flash does not
trigger

We want to make sure that you are completely satisfied with our product.
Cause
Battery not fully inserted into
"Power" connector
Battery discharged.
Wrong AC/DC adapter used or
incorrect battery.
Shutter is in "focus" mode
Wrong AC/DC adapter used or
incorrect battery.
The controller or shutter is
damaged.
Incorrect StopShot settings
Shutter cable disconnected
Shutter is in "focus" mode.
Shutter cable disconnected
Equipment in sleep mode.

Solution
Fully insert battery into power
connector.
Charge battery.
Verify you are using the
correct AC/DC adapter (12V
DC, 2A) or battery: 14.8V

Press the manual button to
close the shutter.
Verify you are using the
correct AC/DC adapter (12V
DC, 2A) or battery: 14.8V

Please contact

Verify settings, and use the
manual button to test-fire the
shutter.
Verify that the cable between
the controller and shutter is
connected and twist-locked.
Press the manual button to
close the shutter.
Verify that the cable between
the controller and shutter is
connected and twist-locked.
Ensure equipment is in ready
mode.
