Quick Start 1. Installing Your Modem in Windows 95/98 Step 1. Reboot the computer system after modem is correctly plug into your COM Port of computer. The Windows 95/98 will automatically detect your new modem and promote you the following dialog box to install new driver for the modem.

Step 3. A new Add New Hardware Wizard dialog box will display on the Screen. Insert the driver CD into CD-ROM driver and highlight the “Specify a location” and choice the “ D:\Driver\WIN9X”, then click “NEXT” Step 4. The below dialog box to show you the INF. File, the windows 95/98 found for the modem.

Step 5. The Windows 95/98 will display below dialog box to tell you it has already installed the driver for the modem. Click on “Finish” button to confirm the installation of the modem. Step 6. After finishing the installation of modem, the Windows 95/98 will display dialog box to ask you providing the driver for the “Wave Device for Voice Modem”.

Step 8. In the new dialog box, you have two choices to install a driver. The default choice is search for the best driver for your device. Highlight this selection if it is not already highlighted and click “NEXT” Step 9. A new Add New Hardware Wizard dialog box will display on the Screen.

Step 10. The below dialog box to show you the INF. File, the windows 95/98 found for the modem. Click on the NEXT button to accept the INF. File. Then the Windows 95/98 will starts to copy all files from CD-ROM to your PC hard disk.

2. Installing Your Modem in Windows ME Step 1. Turn on your computer. As the Windows ME operating system boots up, it displays a Add New Hardware Wizard dialog box shown on your screen Click “Next’, then a new dialog box will show on the screen. Step 2.

Step 4. The below dialog box to show you the INF. File, the windows ME found for the modem. Click on the “Next” button to accept the INF. File. Then Windows ME will starts to copy all files from CD-ROM to your PC hard disk.

Step 5. Windows ME will display below dialog box to tell you that it has already installed the driver for the new modem. Click “Finish” button to confirm the installation completed. Step 6. After finishing the installation of modem, the Windows ME will display dialog box to ask you providing the driver for the Wave Device for Voice Modem.

3. Installing Your Modem in Windows 2000 Step 1. Turn on your computer. As the Windows 2000 operating system boots up, it displays a Found New Hardware Wizard dialog box shown on your screen. Step 2. In the new dialog box, you have two choices to install a driver. The default choice is search for the best driver for your device.

Step 3. In the new dialog box you have four choices to search the driver files. Highlight the “Specify a location” then click on “Next” button to continue. Step 4. Insert the CD to your CD-ROM device, then choice the “D:\Driver\Win2K”...

Step 5. In the new dialog box Windows 2000 has found the driver and please click on “Next” to continue...

Step 6. After finishing the process, Window 2000 will ask you to confirm the installation and click on “Finish” to close the wizard.

4. Installing Your Modem in Windows NT Step 1. As the Windows NT 4.0 operating system boots up, Open the Control panel , then click “Modems icon” It displays a Install New Modem Wizard dialog box show on your screen and to click “Change” to run the installation.

Step 3. A new Add New Hardware Wizard dialog box will display on the Screen. Insert the driver CD into the CD-ROM driver and click “Browse” and choice the “ E:\Driver\WinNT”, then click “OK”. Step 4. Click the manufacturer and modem type to highlight “Intel V92 External [MD5660] Modem”...

Step 5. The below dialog box to show you have selected following modem, and then click “Next”. Step 6. The Windows NT will display below dialog box to tell you it has already installed the driver for the modem. Click on “Finish” button to confirm the installation of the modem.

Step 7. When you finished these step , it will show you complete properties and where COM Port you are , then click “Close”.

5. Installing Your Modem in Windows XP Step 1. As the Windows XP operating system boots up, it display a New Hardware Wizard dialog box and show you this modem is “Intel V92 External Modem” , then will ask you to install the modem. You have two choices to install a driver, please select “Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)”...

Step 3. Windows XP display onto screen a warning massage to your hardware installing, and you just click “Continue Anyway” will ok. Step 4. Windows XP will display below dialog box to tell you that it has already installed the driver for the new modem. Click on “Finish” button to confirm the installation completed.
