    WARTUNG Schmierung Die Achslager und die Lager des Gestänges hin und wieder mit je einem Tropfen Märklin-Öl (7149) ölen. Austauschen der Glühlampen Lampen (vorne/hinten): Den Ring außen am Lampenglas entfernen. Vorsichtig das Glas von der Laterne hebeln. Mit einer Pinzette die eingesteckte Glühlampe aus der Fassung ziehen. Neue Glühlampe einsetzen. Modell wieder zusammenbauen. Innenbeleuchtung: Glühlampe mit einer Pinzette aus der Fassung ziehen. Neue Glühlampe einstecken. Austauschen des Haftreifens – Sechskantschraube am hinteren Treibrad mit Haftreifen lösen. – Gestänge abnehmen. – Mit einem kleinen flachen Schraubendreher den alten Haftreifen entfernen: Den alten Haftreifen aus der Rille (Nut) im Treibrad hebeln. – Vorsichtig den neuen Haftreifen über das Rad schieben und in die Rille (Nut) des Rads einsetzen. – Überprüfen, daß der Haftreifen richtig sitzt. – Modell wieder zusammenbauen. Austauschen des Dampfentwicklers – Abdeckung aus dem Schornstein ziehen (Abb. 4). – Beschädigten Dampfentwickler (Schornsteineinsatz) mit einer Spitzzange oder einer Pinzette aus dem Schornstein ziehen (Abb. 5). – Kabel durchtrennen. – Kabel mit dem neuen Dampfentwickler verbinden. Dabei die abisolierten Kabelenden verdrehen und isolieren (Abb. 6).

    Safety Notes Mode of Operation Switch • This model may only be used with the operating system designed for it. This model has a four-position switch for the mode of operation.     SERVICE Lubrication The axle bearings and the side rod bearings should be lubricated occasionally with a small amount of Märklin-Oil (7149). Replacing Light Bulbs Headlights (front/rear): Remove the ring on the outside of the lantern glass. Carefully pry the glass from the lantern. Using tweezers pull the light bulb from the socket. Insert a new light bulb. Reassemble the model. Interior lighting: Using tweezers pull the light bulb from the socket Insert a new light bulb. Replacing Traction Tires – Loosen the hex head screw on the rear driving wheel. – Remove the side rod. – Remove the old traction tire by using a small flat-blade screwdriver: Pry the old traction tire out of the groove on the driving wheel. – Carefully push the new traction tire over the wheel and insert it into the groove on the wheel.

    ENTRETIEN Lubrification Les coussinets des essieux et les articulations des bielles sont à graisser par inter- valles, quelques gouttes d‘huile Märklin (7149). Remplacer les lampes incandescentes Lampes (avant/arrière): Retirez l’anneau situé à l’extérieur du verre de la lampe. En faisant levier, soulever délicatement le verre de la lanterne. A l’aide d’une pincette, retirez l’ampoule enfichée dans la douille. Enfoncez la nouvelle ampoule. Remontez le modèle. Eclairage intérieur: A l’aide d’une pincette, retirez l’ampoule de la douille. Enfichez la nouvelle ampoule. Remplacer les bandages d’adhérence – Desserrez la vis hexagonale située sur la roue motrice arrière munie d’un bandage d’adhérence. – Retirez les bielles. – A l’aide d’un petit tournevis plat, retirez les bandages d‘adhérence usés: Faire levier pour sortir le bandage d’adhérence usé de la rainure (cannelure) de la roue motrice.

    MANUTENZIONE Lubrificazione Sollevare i cuscinetti degli assi e i cuscinetti dei biellismi e oliare di nuovo con una goccia di olio Märklin (7149) per ciascuno. Sostituzione delle lampadine Lampadina (anteriore/posteriore): Rimuovere l’anello esterno al vetro della lampada. Sollevare con cautela il vetro dal fanale. Con una pinzetta estrarre dallo zoccolo la lampadina innestata. Innestare una nuova lampadina. Montare nuovamente il modello.
