    In case the turning rotor hit the stabilizer/rudder, a detailed inspection of the affected components must be performed. In case CRITICAL damage is found, the rotor system must be replaced. Therefore, the gyroplane should be cleaned after every last flight of the day or more often, if environmental conditions dictate.

Presence and function of the stabilizer plays a vital part in flight stability and safety.
