    „ SETUP AIR SOURCE The PRO-PULSE nailer is designed to operate on clean, dry, compressed „ air, regulated at 60-100 PSI. The preferred system would include a filter (M, fig.2), a pressure regulator (O, fig.2), and an automatic oiler (L, fig.2) located as close to the tool as possible.
  • Page 21 OPERATING PROCEDURES „ All compressed air contains moisture and other contaminants that can harm -rust or “gum up”- the internal components of the tool. An air line filter (M, fig.2) will remove most of these and significantly prolong the life of the tool. Ensure the in-line oiler (L, fig.2) has sufficient oil.

    OPERATING PROCEDURES „ Check the operation of the safety contact trip mechanism before each use. It must move freely without binding through its entire travel distance. The safety spring must return the contact to its fully extended position after being depressed.

    OPERATING PROCEDURES 2. Connect the tool to the air supply. Make sure the air pressure is within the 60-100 PSI limits mentioned in SPECIFICATIONS. 3. Hold the hand grip and press tool against the work surface, allowing it to push in the safety contact tip, until the bottom of the nose piece contacts the work surface, being sure the tool is perpendicular to the surface.

Remove any remaining fasteners from the tool. 4. Use a slender, soft steel rod to push the drive blade to its uppermost position.
