Step 3 Hold the front and back of the enclosure and pull the two ends away from each other. The two halves of the enclosure should slide apart exposing the connectors.
- Page 3 hard drives, attach the IDE connectors as shown below: SATA hard drives, attach the SATA connectors as shown below: Note: Connect both the IDE and SATA power connectors will damage your hard drive. Step 6 Fasten the hard drive to the bottom of the enclosure with the provided screws.
- Page 4 Step 8 Push the two ends together. The enclosure should slide shut. Step 9 Replace the four screws that were removed in steps and 2. Step 10 Connect one end of the power cord to the back of the enclosure and connect the other end to a power outlet.
