Introduction
The Nordson VL500 (Value Line) melter is designed to
deliver precisely metered amounts of thermoplastic
hot melt adhesive to nonwoven products at a
consistent temperature. A hot melt system has three
major equipment groups: the melter, the hoses, and
the applicators. The melter

melts adhesive and maintains it at the
operating or standby temperatures you
program
S
uses the Vista control system to control the
operating temperatures of up to 14 heated
zones, including 2 internal zones (the grid and
reservoir) and 12 external zones (hoses,
applicators, and/or other heated zones, such
as air heaters)
