CHAPTER 7: REMOTE VIEWING FROM A COMPUTER
Gain: adjust the audio gain for the camera microphone (if enabled).
Backlight Compensation: fine-tune the lighting behind the subject
to adjust for bright lighting.
Profile: choose between various profiles adapted to specific lighting
settings.
Anti-flicker: select between various refresh rates to counter image
flicker.
Mirror: toggle between normal and mirrored footage.
Flip: view footage upside-down.
WDR: set the Wide Dynamic Range. Select from various exposure
settings to increase clarity and provide better shadows and highlights.
Stream: configure the parameters for the two video streams (standard
and HD) to allow for better and seamless transmission. You can adjust
the following for both the HD and VGA streams:
Resolution: choose from various resolutions. A lower resolution will
result in better streaming but will also lower the quality of footage.
Frame Rate: reduce the frames per second being streamed to
decrease bandwidth usage.
Bitrate: adjust the maximum rate of data transfer.
Bit mode: select between Variable Bit Rate (VBR) or Constant Bit
Rate (CBR) transmission.
Record: fine-tune the audio recording settings.
Audio Gain: adjust the microphone gain to pick up noise in quieter
settings or decrease for loud environments.
Mode: pick between Continuous and Schedule mode.
Schedule: create a set schedule to determine when you want video
to be recorded.
