Mounting your digital camera

Start your computer.

Connect your digital camera to the computer's USB connector, and set
the camera to the PC connection mode.

For an explanation on how to connect the camera to your computer
and how to set it to the PC connection mode, refer to your camera's
instruction manual.

Turn on your camera.
œ
The camera is recognized as a drive, and [Removable Disk (d:)]
appears in the [My Computer] window.
œ
The drive name (d:) may be different on your computer.

Install a CompactFlash card in the camera.
œ
The CompactFlash is recognized (mounted) as a disk.
œ
Double-click on the [Removable Disk (d:)] icon in [My Computer],
and you can process the contents of the CompactFlash installed in
your camera exactly like you would the data in the other computer
drives.
