B.1.2 Cleanliness
In order to preserve the life of your vehicle, it is important that spare parts are always kept clean. Each
time some oil or lubricant escapes from disconnected pipes or sections, it is important that the joints are
cleaned, to prevent foreign bodies getting into the pipe work. The same conditions apply to the cleanliness of
mechanical parts
Clean and inspect all the parts. Ensure that the openings are not blocked. Cover them to protect them from
dust or liquids. Ensure that the parts to be changed are clean before installing them. Remove all traces of
corrosion from the parts that are to be fi tted with new components.
