    Smart MTL Series 3-Phase Inverter User Manual--Installation 4.7 Communication Connection Besides the standard RS485 communication mode, users have the option for the Ethernet communication mode. The connection methods for the two communication modes are described below. 4.7.1 RS-485 Communication RS485 is the standard communication mode for the Smart MTL Series 3-phase Photovoltaic Inverter and it can be used for a multi-point communication.

Connect the inverter's RS485 communication port with the RS485-R232 converter, and then connect the RS232 with a PC.
