DVD-RAM driver software installation
Note:
•
If packet writing software and UDF file systems other than B's CLiP5 (included with this product)
which belong to a different company are installed on the computer in use, please delete them
first. Co-existence of the DVD-RAM driver software with writing software other than B's CLiP5 in
the same computer environment may cause problems.
•
In Windows 2000/XP, login under a user name assigned to the administrator group when install-
ing.
•
When installing the other software after installing the driver, select "No, I will restart my com-
puter later" in step 2. Restart your computer after you have completed installation of the rest of
the software.
Windows 98/Me

Click on [DVD-RAM Driver] on the
screen in Step 2, page 46. Click [Next]
when the screen on the right is dis-
played.
•
Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.

After installation,
Select "Yes, I want to restart my com-
puter now".
Click [Finish].
The computer now reboots.
•
You can read from and write to a DVD-RAM disc
after rebooting.
•
To verify that the drivers were installed correctly,
refer to "Checks after installation" on pages 54
and 56.
