This power supply is a Safety Class 1 instrument, which means it has a protective earth terminal. That terminal must be

Instrument Identification

The power supply is identified by a unique serial number that provides the following information:
The letter indicates the country of manufacture, where MY = Malaysia; SG = Singapore; US = USA.
MY =
41000177 = The first two digits indicate the year the product was introduced or the year that the last significant design
change was made. Add 1960 to the first two digits to determine the year. The last six digits is the number
assigned to each unit.
