Piezo injector
The piezo injectors are marked with a 24-digit
I2C code.
The I2C coding permits even more accurate tuning
(injection quantity and injection period) of the indi-
vidual piezo injectors when new.
If a piezo injector is replaced, the CDI control unit
must be supplied with this coding via Star Diagnosis.
Data matrix code
Some components feature a matrix code. The codes
are predominantly applied using laser technology.
This code contains information which is useful for
quality and assembly-related purposes only. The code
has no use for service staff.
