Water resistant pH-meter pHSCAN30
Thank you for purchasing this measuring instrument. Before use we recommend that you read the fol-
lowing instructions carefully. This will help you to use the meter in a correct manner.
You can always contact us should you have further questions.
Keys:
• MEAS/HOLD functions :
1. Switch the meter ON/OFF.
2. When pressed during measurement: records the pH-value.
3. When pressed during calibration: to exit calibration mode.
• ENTER/°C functions :
1. When pressed during calibration: to confirm the value.
2. When pressed during measurement: to read the temperature.
• CAL function :
1. Press to activate the calibration mode.
2. Press to select a calibration point during calibration mode.
Before you start:
- Immerse the probe in a storage solution or tapped water during 30 minutes.
- Then rinse with distilled or demineralised water.
- Do not use distilled or demineralised water to immerse the electrode.
Auto-shut-off :
The meter automatically shuts off 8 minutes after the last key operation.
Calibration:
Calibrate the meter before first use or after replacement of the electrode. We also advice
to calibrate the meter twice a week if you frequently use the meter. If you only use the
meter occasionally you need to calibrate the meter before each use.
1. Press MEAS to switch the meter on.
2. Thoroughly rinse the meter with distilled water (by stirring a couple of times in a glass).
Briefly dry with filter paper.
