    To turn ON the CN-800 push the power button on the top side. The first time you turn on your CN-800, it may take up to 5 seconds to start. To power OFF the device, push the power button 2 seconds.

    Time, speed and direction This screen provides information about time, your current speed an direction. The accuracy of the speed shown by the speedometer depends on the satellite signal strenght. Sometimes it may not be correct. It also may not show the same as the speedometer of your vehicle, because there are tolerances and other things that may affect the shown speed.

    Split screen and quick overlay By pressing the mode button while you are in navigation mode you can open a quick overlay menu. It is possible to run naviga- tion and another applica- tion like phone, AV-In, video or music player at the same time.

    If you are prompted to enter the pin code (or pass key) on your mobile phone, tap the pass key specified by the CN-800 (the default is ‘0000’) and tap OK. You will see the phone main screen after the pairing is completed. The sta- tus bar at the bottom shows the name of the mobile phone connected.

    Bluetooth phone control Placing a call After pairing with your mobile phone, you can place a call using any of the three buttons (call and call history) on the phone main screen. By tapping the call button on the phone main screen, you can enter the telephone number with the onscreen keypad.

    Bluetooth phone control Phone book CN-800 is supporting Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP) and you can down- load the phone book data from your phone. You can tap to transfer phone book data from your phone after paired your phone and CN-800.

    Tap pairing the device you want to use as a hands-free. When prompted to enter the passkey in your mobile phone, please, input the passkey requested by CN-800 and tap OK. NOTE: To use the service of a remote device with Bluetooth capability, make sure that the remote device is in discoverable mode.
  • Page 17 Bluetooth phone control Pair Mode By tapping the pair mode button on the phone main screen, you can manually set your device to pair mode. Within the duration of 4 minutes, you can initiate the pairing process on your mobile phone to discover your device as a hands-free device or a headset.
  • Page 18 Bluetooth phone control Advanced Audio Distribution CN-800 supports advanced audio distribution function via Bluetooth. You can hear music from the memory of your phone using the navigation and you can control simple functions as shown in the following screenshot.

    AV/RV/IR input AV/RV input Tap AV or RV button to choose the screen you want to show. You can use PIP (Picture in Picture) function with Navigation with button for multi tasking.   • Page 23 Picture viewer Viewing a picture in full screen When you tap a picture once in the list view, the picture is displayed in full screen. To go back to the list view, tap on the screen to display the picture list screen.

    Playing Movie Files If your files are in a storage card, insert the card into your device. If they are on an USB device, connect it to CN-800. Tap the Movie player button on the main screen to start the program.

    Utilities In CN-800 you find four kinds of applications with useful functions. Calculator This is an useful application that is used to perform numerical calculations, especially addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Page 27 This is application is working as memo note on which you can just draw and hand write on the screen. And you can save this as image file. Games CN-800 is providing three games for personal entertainment. E-book CN-800 is providing E-book function and you can read txt formatted files through this application.

    To select the application which will run when you switch on the device, tap Specific application. You can choose from standard applications by tapping their appropriate icon. If you want to start your CN-800 with the application which was loaded when you switched it off choose Latest application.

    Settings - FM Transmitter / RV FM Transmitter settings You can transmit all sounds from your CN-800 to your car radio by using FM transmitter. After you turn on the FM Transmitter (ON), find a frequency that is not used by a radio station on your car radio.

    Settings - Language / Touch screen Language settings NOTE: To change the language of the Map navigation software, use Map settings. Tap the Up/Down arrow button to scroll the list. Tap language button to select the language. Touch screen (Calibration) You can calibrate the touch screen if it is not responding accurately to your taps.
