Built-in Flash
In situations where a flash is needed, such
as in dark locations or when the subject is
backlit, lower the K (flash pop-up)
control to raise the flash.
When not using the flash, gently push
to lower the flash until it clicks shut.

.1 Hold the camera steady.
Keep fingers and other objects away from the lens, flash, AF-assist
illuminator, microphone, and speaker.
When taking pictures in portrait ("tall") orientation, turn the camera
so that the flash is above the lens.
