• If the blue LED on the front of the camera lights up, your movement has been
detected by one of the side sensor zones.
• If the red LED on the front of the camera lights up, your movement has been
detected by the central sensor zone.
In this way you can determine the best position for aligning the camera.
The LED only lights up in Test mode as soon as one of the sensors has detected a
motion. LEDs do not light up when in Live mode.
In order to avoid incorrect signals and unnecessary photos/video recordings, we
recommend not to use the camera in sunny areas and to check that no branches are
within the eff ective range of the sensor. The best possible alignment is in northerly or
southerly direction. The detection range of the sensor is approx. 100 to 120o, whilst
the detection range of the lens is approx. 50°.

6.6. Night photos/video recordings

At night time, the infrared LEDs (IR LEDs) on the front of the wildlife camera, provide
the light required for taking photos or video recordings.
