 Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
 If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified engineer in order to avoid a
hazard.
 Ensure all parts are completely dry before filling the appliance with oil or liquid fat.
 Do not switch the appliance on until it has been filled with oil or liquid fat. Do not overfill.
 Exercise caution during frying as the appliance will emit hot steam and may spit out hot oil.
 Always dry food before frying to prevent the oil frothing or spitting.
 Take care not to touch the hot surfaces of the appliance.
 When cooking is finished, turn the thermostat to the minimum position and unplug from the
supply.
 Do not move the appliance until the oil or liquid fat has cooled.
 Ensure there is sufficient ventilation around the appliance to allow the escape of heat and steam.
 Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.
 This appliance contains no user serviceable parts. All repairs should only be carried out by a
qualified engineer. Improper repairs may place the user at risk of harm.
