Ths secton descrbes the MRU browser-based GUI. The GUI s applcable to both
Wndows and Lnux OS.
Launchng the MRU n the Browser
After nstallng your MRU software, you can access and control both local and remote
adapters usng the browser GUI. For remote access, you need to know the IP address
of the system wth the remote adapter.
For the MRU to functon properly n the browser, Actve Scrptng must be enabled n
your default browser.
To enable Actve Scrptng n Internet Explorer
1. Select Tools > Internet Optons > Securty > Custom Level.
2. Under Scrptng and check the rado button for Actve Scrptng as shown below.
Note: Actve Scrptng s dsabled by default n Internet Explorer dstrbuted wth Wn-
dows 2008.
Local Adapter
You can access and control local adapters usng the MRU Browser GUI. Ths secton
descrbes the procedure to launch the GUI on Wndows and Lnux OS.
To launch the MRU n Wndows OS
You can use the desktop shortcut and the system tray con to launch the MRU n your
default browser. When launched, your default browser opens and dsplays the MRU
logn page.
