  • Page 6 Powering the Digital Camcorder ON Batteries Make sure the batteries have been inserted properly into your digital video recorder. Use 2 x AAA (1.5V) batteries. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended for use.  Open the battery and SD Card compartment by pushing down the compartment cover lever (as indicated by the arrow on the cover).

    Camera Mounts and Accessories Installing the Helmet Camcorder Mounts The digital camera comes with three different kinds of mounts: Top Adhesive Mount, Side Adhesive Mount, Bike Mount To use the mounts: Insert the cylinder screw of the chosen mount into the camera mount at the bottom of the camera, making sure that the nearby black knob is aligned with the parallel hole.

    Main Camera Modes Video Capture Mode Use this mode to capture videos with your digital camera. This is the default mode when the camera is powered ON. To take a video, aim your camera as desired and press the Shutter button to start the record.

    Using your Helmet Camera Turning Power On and Off 1. Press the POWER button to turn on the camcorder. 2. Press the POWER button again to turn the power off. NOTE: Your digital camera also has an Auto Power Off feature that automatically turns off your camera after 60 seconds that your camera is left idle.
  • Page 12 Photo Capture Mode The Photo Capture mode allows you to capture pictures with your digital camera. When the camera is first powered ON, the camera will be in Video Capture Mode by default. Press the MODE button once to enter the Photo Capture mode. Taking a Picture Turn on your digital video recorder.
  • Page 13 Playback Mode The Playback mode allows you to review and delete photos and videos that you’ve already taken with you camera. When you first turn on the camera, the camera will be in Video Capture mode by default. Press the MODE button twice to open the Playback Mode. The Playback screen appears with the Playback icon appearing on the top left corner of the screen.
