FX Performance mode
There are some differences in the routing of the FX section between Patch and Performance
mode.
In Performance mode, the linked FX preset number, as well as the Dry/Wet amount, are
'global' Performance parameters, so they are stored together with the overall Performance
(not the single Part).
On the other hand, the three Send controls are Part parameters: they are particular useful for
applying different levels of the overall FX to each Part in the Performance.
The three Return controls are again part of the linked FX Preset, not Part / Performance
parameters.
Additionally, the Digital I/O Card allows to panpot each voice (thus each Part) individually: you
can find a 'Pan' parameter in the Part Mixer section along with a Mute parameter, accessible
via the main Performance mode page.

FX Parameters
CHORUS
•
Delay: delay time of the Chorus effect
•
Feedback: amount of feedback
•
Mod Time: rate of the LFO which modulates the Chorus Delay Time
•
Mod Depth: amount of modulation of the LFO applied to the Chorus Delay Time
•
Width: Chorus stereo width
ECHO (DELAY)
•
Cross Level: amount of left input sent to the right delay line and viceversa
•
Left Time: delay time on the left channel
•
Left Feedback: amount of feedback on the left channel, which determines the total
length of the echo on the left
•
Right Time: delay time on the right channel
•
Right Feedback: amount of feedback on the right channel, which determines the total
length of the echo on the right
•
Chorus/Echo: amount of signal processed by the Chorus which is fed into the Echo
REVERB
•
Pre-Delay: initial delay time before the signal is sent to the reverb
•
Time: time required for the reverb tail to drop to -60dB (also known as T60)
•
Delay: relative length of the internal reverb delay buffers: low to middle values change
the resonance frequencies of the room, while high values give an unnatural sucking effect
to the buildup. The effect is most noticeable when using shorter Time.
•
Late Refl: early reflections vs. late reflections balance, i.e. low values emphasise the early
reflection stage, while high values emphasise the 'diffusion network' (i.e. main reverb
body and tail)
•
Feedback: internal feedback coefficients levels: very low or very high values cause self-
oscillation of the reverb
•
FX/Reverb: amount of signal processed by the Echo, which is fed into the Reverb
