    Garage Door Opener PROGRAMMING THE OPENER IMPORTANT Before programming the garage door opener, ensure that the door will open and close easily and smoothly using manual operation. Use the Manual Release Mechanism string handle to disengage the opener from the door, this will allow you to operate the door manually/by hand while holding the rope.
