    1: Overview About this Guide This installation guide provides instructions for installing and performing the initial configuration of the S4300-RP model. It is used as a range extender for many pairs of S4100 devices, a wireless bridge, or multiple S4200 transmitters.

Hardware Overview The S4300-RP electronics are enclosed in a weather-tight cast aluminum module with an integrated wide-band antenna located in the top of the casing.     Configuring a Wireless Bridge Repeater A wireless bridge repeater is used as a range extender to retransmit the signals exchanged by the two devices forming a wireless bridge. A typical context is when you cannot obtain an RF line of sight between the two devices forming the wireless bridge.

You can install the S4300-RP devices either on a wall or on a pole. A repeater is made up of two devices. Depending on the application, they are installed back to back or facing each other.
