conttinate clothingarticleswiththesechemicals.
oSmall,unnoticedtears mayenlargedulingwashingprocess.Checkgarmentsbefore
washingand mendall rips and tears.
~As PermanentPress garmentsage,theymay showfrayingat collarsand cuffs.This is
normaldue to weakeningof fibersby the PermanentPress process.It is not causedby
washer.Youcan slowthisprocessby washingsmallPermanentPress loadswith a
Mgh WaterLevel.Do not washheavyitemssuch as towelswith.Permanent P ress.
Removecollarstays,whenpossible.
~Roughnessor burrs on agitatormay causerips or tears.Checkagitatorand file rough
spotsif necessary.
e May be caused"by the use of NormalWash/SpinSpeedfor delicatearticles.Use
GentleWasMSpin Speed.Referto GarmentManufacturer'sCareLabels.
e Garmentsweakenedby age, sun or atmosphere.This is inevitableand is not caused
by washer.
e TOO lmgeloads,or too littlewater.Loadwasheronly with numberof itemsthat will
movefreely.Selectcorrectwaterlevel.

~Makesure cord is pluggedinto outlet.
e Makesureboth hot and coldfaucetsare turnedon.
@ Makesurecontrolsare set andCycleSelectorknobis pulledout to ON position.
~Makesurelid is closed.Washerwill~~11 but willnot spinor agitatewithlid open.
~Checkhousefusesor circuitbreakers.If anotherapplianceis sharingthe electrical
outlet,removeit. Washershouldhave separateoutlet.
~Makesuretemperatureselectorcontrolsare correctlyset.
~Make surehot and cold faucetsare turnedon and
regulatedcorrectly
~Makesurehosesare connectedto correctfaucets...

@ Watervalvescreensmay be stoppedup. Removeinlet
hosesfrom watervalve.Cleanthe screensand reinstallhoses.
@ Checkhousewaterheaterto makesureit is deliveringwater at
140°F.–1500F. (60°C.–650C.).
~Make sure drain hose is not kinked.
@ Topof drain outletshouldbe less than 8 ft. (2.4 m) abovefloor.
