Preparing for Live View Shooting*

During Live View shooting, do point the toward sun. The
sun's heat can dsm_ge the camera's internal components.
Live View shooting will disable a few Custom Function settings. (p.153)
<_ Under low light or bright light conditions, the Live Vi#w image might not
reflec_ the brightness of the captured image.
_, If the light source within the image changes, the screen might flicker. {f
this happens, stop the Live View shooting, then resun'_e Live View
shooting unde_ the actua_ light source to be used.
Dudng Live View image display, if you point the camera in a different
direction, it might throw off the cQrrect brightness momentad_y and the
image might not 10ok right_ Wait Ubt}! the image brightnes s stabilizes
before shooting.
_fthere is a very bdght light source in the picture, such es the sun, the
bright area might be blackened on the LCD monitor, Howeyer, the actual
captured image will correctly show the bright erea.
If you set the [_'£: LCD brig htness] to bright settings in low light,
ch_ominance noise may appear in the Live View image. However, the
ch_omin_nce noise wi{l not be recQrded to the captured image.
When You magnify the image, _he !range sharpness maY look more
pronounced than it really is.
Under the [t_." Custom Fu#ctions (C.Fn)] menu, setting [Auto Lighting
Optimizer] (p.156) to [0: Enable] may display a darkly_exposed (set with
] _., tf the camera is not operated for a prolonged period, the power will turn
off automatically as set with [_" Auto power off]. (p.109) !f [_" Auto
power off] is set to [Offj_ the Live View shooting will stop automatically
after 30 rain. (camera power remains on).
The image's field of view is _bout _00%.
